Five Legged Stool Culture Book
A while back, one of my favorite clients reached out to see if I’d be interested in designing a company culture book for them. Most folks know them as Arkansas Business Publishing Group, but in recent years, they’ve expanded well beyond Arkansas, and beyond business. These days, they go by Five Legged Stool.
They wanted something to share with new and potential hires to express who they are as a company, through the lens of culture. I love that idea. Honestly, I think every company should have something like this. It helps people get a feel for the company’s personality, not just its policies.
This project was a blast. They gave me full creative freedom, and I’m really proud of how it turned out. They provided a general overview, but the layout and visual storytelling were totally open. The final piece includes a ton of my own handwriting, which gives it a playful, personal touch — a nice contrast in a design world full of clean lines and perfect symmetry.
If you’re looking for some free-range design like this, give me a shout. This is the kind of work I live for.
